New Jersey Calendar of Pet Events
Sat., October 8, 9:30 am (Paws from the Past); 10:00 (3 mile run)
20th Annual Hounds and Harriers Run
Location: Crest Dr, South Mt Reservation, South Orange, NJ 07079
Limited entry (150). This 3 mile event requires runners to have canine running partners.
Each team receives a multi-colored t-shirt and matching dog bandanna. Awards to dogs in separate male and female runner categories for 1st shelter adoptees, veteran dogs (10 or over), large and small dog weight classes and top 10 places.
2nd short event will be held for senior dogs retired from running 3 miles. Dogs need to be trained to run and be properly vaccinated.
